The signing ceremony, held in Dubai on 24 June 2026, marks the beginning of a new chapter for Lotus Cars in the UAE, bringing together two organisations united by a shared commitment to engineering excellence, innovation, and exceptional customer experiences.
Founded in 1948 by Colin Chapman, Lotus Cars has built a global legacy through its pioneering approach to automotive engineering and motorsport. Today, as part of Geely Holding, the brand continues to redefine performance with a new generation of electric and hybrid vehicles, staying true to Chapman's philosophy of performance through intelligent engineering.
The partnership launches with three exceptional models: the Emira, the final petrol-powered sports car from Lotus; the all-electric Emeya Hyper-GT; and the Eletre, a performance SUV designed for a new generation of drivers.
